TACT Fostering

TACT (The Adolescent and Childrens Trust) is the UK's largest dedicated Fostering charity.

Established for over 25 years, TACT currently have over 500 foster carers providing loving homes for over 600 children and young people. The Adolescent and Children's Trust was formed in 1992 by a group of local authority service managers, who had expressed concerns that the rapid changes were resulting in the lack of adequate foster care placements.

As a charity, everything TACT does is for the benefit of children in care and on the fringes of care. TACT are beyond profit, which means that all surplus income is invested back into our services to ensure our their carers and the children in their care receive the best possible support. TACT cover large areas of England, Wales and Scotland, with friendly, professional and experienced teams who are dedicated to ensuring that, as a TACT foster carer, you receive the support you need, whenever you need it, regardless of where you are in the country.
