Welcome to Penn Surgery. The doctors and staff are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare in a welcoming and friendly environment.
The surgery currently has a list size of 5,338 patients. Our principal GP's are Dr Bush and Dr Martin , our salaried GP is Dr Pamma
We are also a training practice, training GP registrars.
Our nursing team comprises of Practice Nurses- Mrs Denise Hill and Miss Hannah Ibbs-George and Health Care Assistants Maggie Ashworth and Angela Hughes.
The practice is managed by Mrs Lisa Hayden, her role is to deal with the overall administration and smooth running of the practice. She is available by appointment to discuss any non-medical problems, complaints or suggestions relating to the practice.
The rest of the team is made up of receptionists, an IT administrator and also a Clinical Pharmacy Advisor, Mrs Geogina Birch , who works with the GP's regarding safe and effective prescribing for our patients.The surgery has wheelchair access and disabled toilets. Car parking is available and there are disabled spaces in front of the building.
The surgery also has access to Rexall Chemist carpark for our patients to use which is situated across the road form the surgery. There are bus stops close by for the local bus network.

The surgery has an active Patient Participation Group made up of patients in a wide-range age group who meet every 3 months. This helps to ensure patients needs are met by the practice.
The latest technology in the surgery also means that the patients can do a lot of things from the comfort of their own home, such as booking appointments , ordering prescriptions and viewing medical records. Please see a member of reception staff for details.
