Millions of men and women have heard or read about the unique Fellowship called Alcoholics Anonymous since its founding in 1935. Of these, more than 2,000,000 now call themselves members. People who once drank to excess, they finally acknowledged that they could not handle alcohol, and now live a new way of life without it.
AA experience has always been made available freely to all who sought it - business people, spiritual leaders, civic groups, law enforcement officers, health and welfare personnel, educators, ex servicemen, serving officers, institutional authorities, representatives of organized labour, and many others.
AA members will usually emphasize to newcomers that only problem drinkers themselves, individually, can determine whether or not they are in fact alcoholics.
If you need help with a drinking problem either phone our national help line or email us. Our contact services are staffed by volunteer members of AA who will be happy to answer your questions or put you in touch with those who can.
Local meetings do take place in Wolverhampton throughout the week - please visit our website for dates, locations and times.
