Sian Computers was established and started trading in 2013 in Wolverhampton to serve the local communities.
We sell and repair IT equipment such as laptops, mobile phones, gaming consoles and sell a range of accessories including phone cases, cables, chargers, plugs and we also offer printing services. We are also an internet café, gaming centre and are officially recognised as an Open College Network West Midlands Quality Endorsement Licensed Centre.
We are open to all members of the public who would like to gain knowledge, enhance their learning and boost their employment prospects. We also accept referrals from DWP, other agencies and organisations.
In the true sense of business growth and development, in 2017 Sian Computers registered as a Community Interest Company; known as Sian Computers Community Initiative C.I.C, which operates independently of Sian Computers. Its sole purpose is to serve the community. Between Sian Computers and Sian Computers CIC we have built a portfolio of courses which have been created to suit the needs of the local community.
We offer the following courses:
Pre-Apprenticeship Programme (PAP)
The Pre-Apprenticeship Programme (PAP) is for young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) or on the verge of dropping out. This is a short 6-week course which introduces learners to the workplace and theory experience.
This course is delivered by Sian Computers CIC, alongside its partners, CEAL (Community Education Academy of Leadership) and GEDS (Global Entrepreneurial Development Services). The team is keen to make a significant contribution towards youth employability policy initiatives to reduce the impacts of institutional unjustness meted out against 18-24 year olds in particular, across the cultural, economic, ethnic and social spectrum. Training is proposed to begin in September 2022 and further details with regards to dates and venue will be supplied closer to the time.
We are also looking for employers to come on board to provide these experiences for learners where there will be a monetary incentive for your support to the program. Should you be interested please view the attached flyer and contact Harminder Bhogal on 07891479255 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
