Kingswood Trust

The Kingswood Trust is a unique centre delivering high quality outdoor learning opportunities and memorable experiences for a wide range of visitors and the current services offered are built on a long history of serving the people of Wolverhampton and the surrounding village communities.

The Centre is located near Albrighton, just outside Wolverhampton, and a variety of natural habitats including woodland, ponds, meadow areas, growing beds, orchard, secret pathways and trails are set in 9 acres of grounds and create the backdrop and resources for exciting activities and explorations. Pets on site include sheep, poultry, rabbits and tortoises.

Complimenting the outdoor environment the Centre has a wide range of indoor facilities including classrooms and workshop, residential accommodation, dining areas, activity rooms and community building. 

The Centre hosts visits from schools, other educational settings and informal groups (day and residential), community events, training programmes and volunteering schemes. A professional, experienced and enthusiastic team lead the activities in a secure setting and develop the confidence, skills and learning of the participants.

The Trust has an active Friends membership group which is open to all and which supports and enhances the work of the Trust through participation in social events, training programmes, fund-raising and volunteer activity in and around the site. A small catering unit providing light snacks and refreshments is open during community and social events.

A wide range of opportunities to visit Kingswood are available throughout the year and details and updates are posted regularly on the website and through press and social media.

 The Kingswood Trust offers:

The Centre is now open again with all activities proceeding under the latest guidelines regarding Covid.

There is a small snack bar on site which serves light refreshments at most events open to the pubic.

The Centre is open throughout the year for visits and events. Bookings are made to suit visitors' requests. A community events programme details those activities that are open to the general public. Bookings for events may be made through an eventbrite link which is found on the Kingswood website.
