At the Alzheimer's Society, we have Dementia Navigators who are able to offer advice to people caring for someone with dementia.
We have a monthly Dementia Cafe at Bantock House. You will need to refer yourself to this service (or be referred by a health professional) as it is no longer a drop-in and we must book people in to keep to a certain number each month.
Our main line to register with the Alzheimer's Society is 0333 150 3456 - here you can ask any questions about dementia and discuss what local services are on offer that could help you.
If you wish to discuss the dementia cafe to see if it is suitable then call 07484 089 515.
We still have virtual services which are very popular and a great option for people who may still feel reluctant to go out or who have mobility issues restricting what they can access. There is a Virtual Dementia Cafe on zoom, which is a great opportunity to meet new people and get support from others in a similar situation. You can access these online groups if you are already registered with us; to access support or be referred to any local services, please call our support line: Dementia Connect 0333 150 3456.
The Alzheimer's Society website is packed with up to date information, support and advice on all aspects of living with dementia.
