Beacon Centre for the Blind supports people living with sight loss in the West Midlands.
Established over 145 years ago, Beacon makes a visible difference for people with sight loss, helping them live fuller, more independent lives. We support over 3,000 people across the West Midlands and South Staffordshire. Beacon Vision has been supporting people living with sight conditions such as Cataracts, Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Tunnel Vision and Glaucoma. Our vision is a society where individuals value and protect their sight and where visual impairment does not limit or determine opportunity.
At Beacon we run a wide range of activities for people living with sight loss, from groups trips out to arts, sports, lifestyle and learning activities at our Activity Centre. Please visit our website for more information, including dates, times and any costs.
We have activity centres in Sedgley and Stourbridge, providing a number of health and well-being services, we also operate a number of retail shops in these areas.
Please visit our Beacon Centre Facebook page, or contact us for further information.
