Myeloma Support Group - Wolverhampton

Myeloma, also known as multiple myeloma, is a blood cancer arising from plasma cells. Each year in the UK, approximately 5,700 people are diagnosed with myeloma. Myeloma mainly affects those over the age of 65, however it has been diagnosed in people as young as 20.

Wolverhampton Myeloma Support Group
was set up by the nurses at New Cross Hospital and it now meets at the Willenhall Chart Community Centre once a month.

It is an informal Group of myeloma patients, family and friends that get together to chat to one another about their experiences and to hear from guest speakers about various aspects of the treatment and management of myeloma. We provide a number of services, support and advice to help you cope with a diagnosis and manage myeloma ongoing.

Anyone affected by myeloma is welcome to join the meetings.
