SNJ Charitable Trust stands for Success & Joy – Let’s spread it around.
We operate in the City of Wolverhampton and help people succeed in gaining employment and lead a fulfilled life through Lifelong Learning. We provide training, support, encouragement and also promote physical and mental wellbeing.
We are a voluntary aided organisation with two clear aims:
- To provide access to good, healthy living by remaining physically and mentally active.
- To empower learners at any age and stage in life through training as well as educational opportunities. We enable them to achieve economic self-sufficiency to lead a fulfilling life.
We believe that together we can make a difference and improve the lives of all in the community – particularly the socially, isolated young people and adults unable to access social and other services due to English language or lack of computer skills.
We work with local partner agencies and have activities based in the City including a very successful I.T programme which encourages our members and service users to become more computer literate and become digitally included. To date, we have helped educate 60 people from across all ages and backgrounds. We also signpost to other providers who can offer further assistance and meet their needs.
We run zoom sessions to bring people together from all communities to make friends in a social setting and learn skills like knitting.
SNJ Charitable Trust also run health and charity projects in India.
