I have been a registered childminder for 20 years and worked with numerous children and also special needs children. I have 3 adult children aged 25,27,29 years old and 2 Grand daughters aged 5 years old and 3 years old and a grandson 6 months old. I have all age ranges come after school and are 2 years and up.
I am very flexible with my hours but charge double time for bank holidays. I have all the relevant training and keep my training up to date yearly, so I am always recapping and learning new things as they arrive. As there is just me and my husband at my home address, I am more flexible with my hours of work.
I was registered with Ofsted until I changed to a childcare agency as they gave better support and was available 24 hours a day for any queries.
I work all year round and have up to 4 weeks off a year; I do not work Christmas or New Year’s Day.
