Wolves Disability Hub

The Premier League/BT Disability Fund is a national programme.

The programme is delivered by over 25 clubs who seek to create possibilities for disabled people through sport helping to remove the barriers that mean that at present disabled people are half as likely to participate in sport as non-disabled people.

Since the programme was launched, more than 19,000 participants have taken part.

We will seek to make existing programmes as inclusive as possible so that disabled people can take part in a wider range of activities.

For example, clubs will be able to support disabled participants to access education and employability programmes helping to inspire ambition.

This programme will build on the outstanding work that we are already doing in this area and build a sustainable long-term infrastructure to ensure equality of opportunity and is part funded by BT and BT Supporters Club, who as well as investing financially, will be providing on the ground support for the delivery of the programme through staff volunteering opportunities.

Events taking place include:

Frame Football

Frame Football is an adapted form of football designed for people who use a walker or crutches for their daily mobility and may have restricted mobility. The adapted and inclusive game was designed to enable those children, young people and adults who were previously unable to play football with ambulant or able bodied players.

PAN Disability

Designed to cater to any impairments, with the aim of improving skills, techniques and all around knowledge of the game, as well as developing players agility, balance and coordination. The sessions will vary from fun football games, technical sessions and small sided games.
