We are very proud and excited to offer our two year old provision in our stunning new, purpose built room which gives the ‘home from home’ feel to enable children to feel safe, secure and happy to separate from their parents/carers each day. Making families feel very welcome into our family friendly, nurturing quality environment.
We have a secure, fenced outdoor garden which allows the children to explore and play fully supervised by our experienced early year’s practitioner’s. We have a highly dedicated team of four staff, whom all hold relevant early year’s qualifications, some at degree level, as well as up to date paediatric first aid certificates.
We work in partnership with our parents in every way we can right from home visits to every day dialogue. We pride ourselves on inviting parents to join us for learning together sessions where you can play alongside your child taking part in many fun, creative activities to construct lasting memories. Each term parent consultations take place where we update you on progress, development and learning, this enables us to share milestones and achievements together. we have regular parent workshops and family learning sessions where children, parents and educators play and learn together.
Children go for 'Forest School' sessions each week to enable children to playfully explore the woodland area offering opportunities such as the mud kitchen, fairy house, rope swings and safe climbing opportunities.
We are still within a two year long 'Creatures that Move' project on Snails where children have been learning all about snails, we have two Giant African Land Snails as pets which the children adore.
