The Wolverhampton Elder Asian Group (WEAD) was set up in 2002 to cater for the needs of the local community. We provide day drop in services for Asian elderly and disabled people. Our project helps to provide:
- Social relief
- Reduce isolation
- Increase independence
- Encourage befriending opportunities
- A luncheon club - as well as other refreshments
We encourage all forms of social interaction and our gatherings are an opportunity to meet peers, get advice and information, meet new people.
Our office base at WVSC operates on an appointment basis only. Please do not visit WVSC unless an appointment has been arranged.

We are currently offering telephone support and advice as well as a telephone befriending service.
