We provide a vital care service, offering social activities, promoting independence and social inclusion. We offer a wide range of diverse activities and pursuits to suit individual needs and interests. We cater for people with physical disabilities, people who have mental health problems and mild to moderate Dementia. We want to enable members to remain in their own homes, alleviate loneliness and isolation, and provide the opportunity to enable members to maintain existing skills and interests and develop new ones, enhancing their quality of life. We follow all the Covid 19 safety guidelines.
We have our own vehicle with a tail lift. It may be possible to collect members free of charge if they live in the SW area of Wolverhampton, or members can make their own arrangements if preferred.
On arrival members are offered a drink and toast, at lunch time a two-course meal is served which is cooked on the premises, with tea and biscuits offered in the afternoon. All dietary requirements can be catered for including diabetic and vegetarian meals.
We offer a variety of activities from the usual board games, cards and dominoes to more physical activities such as indoor bowls, skittles and darts. We offer art and craft sessions were members can paint, embroidery and card making. We play musical bingo, have quizzes and hold discussions groups and reminiscence therapy. We also give informative talks on healthy eating, incontinence and falls prevention. To ensure our members keep fit we offer keep fit, music and movement and relaxation sessions. We also have a visiting hairdresser and chiropodist.
All our staff are fully qualified in Health and Social Care and Dementia Care, they are friendly and approachable.
